The results of international wildlife photography contest - the Mercedes Benz FIAP Nature Biennial World Cup - were announced in Bangalore on Wednesday, September 15.
The competition aimed at discovering the challenge and thrill of wildlife photography - capturing that magical moment in the life of Earth's most beautiful inhabitants.
India finished as a close and creditable second out of 32 countries but certainly gave the 5 time winners, Italy, a run for their money. We bring you some of the winning images from around the world.
